googling/googlit ... the new word for searching?

A friend of mine noticed that I've been referring to internet search as "googling" or "googlit". I never even realized it until she pointed it out, and it made me laugh. Because I know for a fact that googling is not in the dictionary. I can't say yahooing, 'coz it sounds crazy. I know for a fact that I didn't come up with those words, but somebody should make an internet lingo dictionary of sorts.
