Interesting discussion!!! When it comes to food, everything else seems secondary to me!!! I hog a lot!!! And when i say a lot i really mean "a lot"..I really dunno when i'm full...i finish up everythin on the plate and take more after tat too...But my appearance would giv u an impression tat i eat only once a day and tat i'm forced to starve the rest of the day, which is not true of course!!! But man, i love to eat..Jus can't resist the temptation to stop myself even if i'm full...He he he... :D

Your a pretty small person ...! :) But I must say that I am realy big one!!
I eat a lot and I mean it.... "a lot"..!
Seriously sometimes I think that Am I eating for living or living for eating..:P
Really!!
In my house my mummy makes it a point to not leave any thing on plate and she makes us all do the same!! since my childhood. She belives that leaving food on plate to get waste is kind of disrespect of the food!!
So you have to be perfect in knowing your own stomach!!
You cannot take extra food in your plate or you'll have to finish that all, by hook or by crook!!
but she leaves us before we about to get explode(vomit) on the dining table....he he!! Now that is something very strict na??
Well that is my mom!!
Now I am habbitual to it and I too make it a point to not to leave any food on the plate!!
I call this a good habbit!!
what about you?

I can eat and eat.
But I do know when enough is enough and I don't eat when that happens. Nothing worse than brining it back up, if you have more safe it for later.

When I was a child I was always told to eat everything on my plate; I was born just after the war when food was scarce, so I can understand that. However, it took me years to realize that when I was full, it was ok to leave the rest. I think it was when I had my children that I was conscious of leaving food on my plate when I was full, because I didn't want them to grow up as I did, thinking I had to clear my plate! Lifetime habits are very hard to change. So my answer is no, I can't eat everything on my plate!

Well linz I always know when I am full and like you it doesn't take a lot although unlike you I'm not that small! Most of the time I have to force myself to eat but sometimes I get very hungry and think I could eat loads but I only eat a little before I realise that I can't eat another bite - and still I lose weight! xxx

Yeah I am the same way, and I never finish the food on my plate. Living with someone who does, I just don't understand it, I know their parents raised them that way but if you are full why continue eating?

My height is considered tall here in my country. I don't eat a lot. Just about a small serving will do. Its been a habit of mine for years now. I don't think I'll ever eat more than that small serving. I divide my meals instead of 3 into 5 small meals spread throughout the day.
