Shaq and Wade, Yao and Tmac, they have similar conditions. Both tandems need to have quality players helping them out there in the court. Their teammates are either old or too slow and unreliable compared to those surrounding the Spurs, Pistons, Cavs, Mavs, and Phoenix. Both management should improve their teams this offseason or they'll be looking at another early playoffs exit next in 2009.

I love the heat, and it's not because of anyone else, it's just because of the superb player in Dwyane Wade. Brandon is exactly right, he was inhuman in that championsip series against Dallas. and given his level of play that series, he can topple anybody, any team for that matter. It;s like watching a movie, seeing that one guy lifting all his teammates on his back and ran over the other team like they are not contenders at all. Wow! He did everything in that series, a clear MVP. sadly they went down this year in a ot so good fashion, but hey, Wade is still there, and so is Shaq. Let's just hope that Riley makes the right moves in the offseason and give this duo a nice player or two and quality bench players. Go Heat!

The year of 2006 belonged to the Miami Heat really. I don't just like them, I love them! Last season was a blessing in disguise for the Heat. They won their franchise's first ever Championship and they won it with style. Dropping the first two games against the Dallas Mavericks, Miami made NBA Finals History by winning the next four.
Dwyane Wade was inhuman in that series. Though he feels flattered being compared to a Michael Jordan, but he stays humble and wants to be remembered as D.Wade really. No matter how you wanna put it, but Wade was the shining star in that series and perhaps the major reason why they won it. I have seen the Finals on TV last year, and all I can say is Wade was on fire from Games 3-6, especially in the second half of each of those games. I almost cried in Game 6 when the final buzzer rang for the Finals. Seeing Gary and Alonzo hugging and really enjoyed that moment, their hard work was awarded finally. All those years of struggles and setbacks has been repaid. All made possible by the duo of Shaq-Wade, and of course the rest of the Miami Heat players.
Though they couldn't fulfill their promise for a back-to-back title by being swept by the young and hungry Bulls, Miami Heat has indeed some bragging rights to back up the Miami Heat franchise. It is sad to say that the Heat are perhaps looking into revamping their line-up, but for sure with a healthy Wade back next year, they will be definitely be a contender again. =)
Hope for the best for the Heat. Go Heat! We believe.
