What are the typical contents of a woman's bag? Mine holds a pack of tissues or wipes, a handy mirror, wallet or purse, sun glasses, keys, cologne or perfume, cosmetic bag with make-up, pen, identification cards, a mini flashlight and my mobile phone. But I also heard of unfamiliar or weird things women carry in their bags, could you give me some example?

Well, you mean, other than my kitchen sink? LOL! Certainly, when I do have the rare occasion to go out somewhere I like to be prepared. I stop just short of packing a suitcase to go to the mall or library. With a little kid along for the ride, you never know what you'll need.
Mostly, my purse nowadays would be a big diaper bag, that I now carry, even though my daughter is no longer officially a little baby.
One time I went out, carrying a few of the following items: baby diapers, several sizes to be sure; baby wipes; baby bottles and baby bottle cooler, medicine for my headaches and allergies; keys; house keys; assorted toys; literature on business opportunities; more baby stuff and a few mommy necessities like lip gloss and hair brush. The last two were purely vanity items, just in case I ran into someone I knew and wanted to freshen up quickly.
Now that my daughter is somewhat older, I think I've learned to pare down my take out purse to a more manageable size. So, maybe just the essentials now, like keys and back up clothing for her, just in case she needs a change. As well as cash, debit cards, bottle of chilled water, an emergency cell phone and assorted toys for a smooth ride.
Maybe by the time she hits her teens, I'll be able to carry a cute little clutch purse whenever I go out. That would be nice!

I have tissues, my mobile phone, personal stereo, sun glasses, spare contact lenses and a tiny mirror. I also have some money, a debit card, library ticket, rail card and loyalty cards from shops. when I am travelling I like to add my camera as well. My hand bag is not too heavy. But my sister's handbag is as heavy as a brick. I don't know what she has in it but I guess it is loads of make up.

Bag a woman is forbidden, and its loss means the owner of incapacity for a good period of time. It is a territory magic, mystical, in which space and time expands. Even the most organized woman in the world, has the Achilles heel of personal bag, which develops a whole jungle of beauty.
The story is gentile, but interesting at the beginning (in adolescence) are just a style accessory to get money, house keys and a lipstick, something ... and then begin to grow and gather diverse according to each age / phases of: car keys, bank cards, pictures of loved ones, diapers, etc.. So the bag gets bigger.
I still expect to invent the perfect bag that you put your hand to find exactly what you are looking for. Seriously now: no bag design does not help us ...
