The Bermuda Triangle is a stretch of water between the coast of Florida, Bermuda (of course), and the Gulf of Mexico. It is believed that this area has strong magnetic fields which is why compasses tend to move on their own and give false readings while in the area. It is said that Columbus was the first to document the strange goings on within the triangle. A fleet of military planes on a training mission is said got lost there. Even the famous jazz musician Glenn Miller was said to have gotten lost there.I've always been fascinated with the stories of the Bermuda Triangle since I was a little boy. But in truth the number of ships and planes that got lost within the triangle is far less than those who have successfully passed through the triangle. Most of it is just hype made by people who either want to sell a book or a story. Much like our local "chismis"(gossip) here in the Philippines.
