Here is one of the recipes that I make. It is called the Earth Bar. The bar is has nourishing wheat bran and cinnamon powder that softly exfoliates the skin. The green parsley adds a touch of natural color. What you will need: 3 oz retangular mold. Now you can use any mold this is what I used. cut up and melt 3 oz of white glycerin soap base(I have also made using clear) mix and add the following: 4 drops green liquid colorant 2 drops orange liquid colorant 1/4 teaspoon wheat bran 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes a small sprinkle of cinammon powder 10 drop pine fragrance oil 5 drops sandalwood fragrance oil 5 drops patchouli fragrance oil Stir the soap until it thickens so the additives are suspended through out the soap. Pout in the mold. Let harden. Remove from the mold and package as desired. I hope that you will enjoy this one. Let me know if you decide to make it how it turns out.

Do you make all these different kinds of soaps? I have never made my own soap before, but it sounds interesting. Where would I go to find the molds and other tools of the trade? The Fire Bar soap sounds intriguing. Thanks

I do make these. I go to hobby lobby and michael craft stores. You can also do searches on the net for them. I have also found some things on ebay. You might also check etsy.com

All your ideas, gewcew, are so wonderful. If I didn't have about a million other crafts/hobbies going on right now, I'd probably take up soap making as well. Oh what the heck, I may as well learn right? I may as well get them started for Christmas this year. LOL! Where do you find your supplies? Can you give me a link to websites that I can find these things at? Thanks for sharing!!

This is another great idea. I am going to have a lot of fun making all of these wonderful soaps. I am going to check around for the supplies I need to get started. I don't know what project I want to do first. You have posted so many wonderful projects.

I always love your recipes for soap making. All of them are very interesting and not hard to make when you have the ingredients. I also just read your other recipe about that orange soap. The picture was so beautiful and I was wondering how come it looked like it has orange skin inside. Thank you for sharing this with us. This is very nice of you. I have a question: is it cinnamon powder or wheat bran that exfoliates the skin? Which one of them? Also, is the cinnamon powder, the same we use in the kitchen? I mean the natural one or is it something that is specifically used in soap recipes? I am enjoying your recipes very much. Thank you!

The wheat bran I believe it the one that exfoliates. The cinnamon is the same I believe I have never seen it at any of the stores or websites I have visisted.
