besides kids, when adults feel ill then it seems they do. but nowbody really goes regular like they should, maybe they are afraid of finding something wrong!

the money...thats a good point. it has gone up so much, i don't know how people without insurance can afford to go.

I really don't go as often as I should. It's not that I'm afraid of the results it's simply that I just don't think to do it. Even when I'm sick I usually just try to let it run it's course rather than go spen 2 hours at the doctors office just to be seen for 2 minutes and then given a prescription.

i only really go if i cant take the pain or feel i have an infection like strep, and they won't give you a prescription if you don't go.

I go to my yearly check-up. My insurance pays for it- so I do it- THis is when I get my pap and go through all the other testing- Cholesterol, blood pressure, iron level, etc. I also get my prescription refill then- I think it is so important to be checked out yearly- I go each October- Now my sig. other will only go if he is deathly sick-- or had an accident- Other than that he is tough he tells me- He won't go-

i know, my husband had kidney stones, and he was in so much pain,, but i still had to force him to go in. He hates the doctors.

I only go if I really really have to, which is when I need a perscription or I am really really sick and close to having to go to the hospital. I just feel that I don't have time to go otherwise. Like someone else has said, you could go there and wait for ages to be seen and only be in there for about 2 minutes.

its totally true. i can't believe how little you do get a chance to see an actual doctor these days. most of the time its a PA, and they don't always know what to do with you, so you have to go back, and it still costs the same. Frustrating!!
