Why is that?????
Laura(a contestant) is in the final of a match at the olympic games. At the moment she reaches the finish, all the other contestants are behind her back. She did not play unfair and did also not use doping, but she does not get the gold medal? Why is that?

Hope you're glad that your discussion is still here after 2 years time.
Anyway, the answer to your discussion I think would be that Laura is in the speed walking event and leading first. Probably in the last 100m to the finishing line she was caught "running" by lifting both her heels as she walk.
Hope I wouldn't see such sad situation in this year's olympic 2008.
