Budapest, a wonderful city!

I used to went to Budapest in 2005. It is very beautiful city with Buda and Pest parts lying on 2 sides of Danube river...It is really a peace city...It was very surprising to me when there is still sunshine at 8 pm...and we had a "white night", it means it is not really dark at night time. People in there are very friendly too. If i have a chance i want to go back there one more time...

I visited Budapest 12 years ago. It was a spontanious decision to go there, I wasn't really planning on travelling that summer, but I had some extra money and I decided to spend it on a trip to Budapest. I didn't regret that decision at all. The weather was nice and sunny and I did a lot of sightseeing. I visited many of the famous places and I took many pictures. My favourite place in Budapest was the Margaret island. I think that it is beautiful place and I really enjoyed walking around in the area, it was also a nice place to relax when I was tired after a long day of sightseeing. Another place that I really liked was the Gellert hill. It was quite hard to walk all the way to the top, but the view was amazing.

I have been to Budapest last time about 7 years ago. I think it's a little poor city, but it's also beautiful. I would like to come back to visit that city, because I like very much Hungary. I've seen that things cost less than in the other cities of Europe.

I have never been there, but my step-mother's family is from Hungary. She and my Dad are probably going to go some time this year. I hope they send lots of post cards. Barb is one of the best cooks in the world.
