AMD or Intel

Which would be the best among these processors?

At the moment I think Intel has taken the lead with core duo processors, which will be affordable soon. Personally I own an AMD Athlon processor, but it's getting old.

But yes Intel is currently at the top right now coz of it's core2duo procs
