Funny stories behind the name of your pet?

When I was younger I had a cat named J.J. His name came about because of a weird story.
When we got the cat the guy we bought it from told us it was a girl, So, I named it Jennifer, (becauseI had another cat before that looked like it) Then when we took him to the vet, they told us it was a boy. Shocker! So, I couldnt think of a name, I started thinking about the name Jerry, but then didnt really like it for a cat, so he ended up with the name J.J. which pretty much stood for Jennifer and Jerry. Do you guys have a weird or funny story for the name of your pet?

erm.. my 2 dog calll "beauty" and "beast"
haha... my friend will laught when listen this name...
coz beauty and the beast hahaha...
most funny is... everytime i call that 2 dog ...
Beauty must be come 1st...while the Beast realy a fat dog that come at the last hahha...
really suit thier name !! 'Beauty' and the 'Beast'

We got our small dog from the Humane Society. They called her Trixie. When we first brought her home, we were trying to decide whether to keep that as her name or change it. The first night we had her, there was a big storm. She was really scared, and kept getting in bed with us, and we kept putting her back on the floor. Finally we gave up because we needed some sleep. I told her she was a little trickster to get her own way that easily. So we decided to keep her name as Trixie or trixter.
