Ok I know this is silly but I have been sick and a friend of mine took my 3 mo old son for 3 days and 2 nights to give me a little break. Well, They are bringing Rylan back today I just do not know when. I find my self running to the window everytime I hear a car door close out side. Any advice to make me feel a little better untill he returns?

Try to get calmed down a little. Remind yourself that babies can feel tension and excitement and it might be too much for them. I know it must be hard for you. I wish I had friends that would do that for me. Try and busy yourself. MAke some lunch or get en early dinner started so you can just heat it up later. Or call your friends and ask for a time frame.

Thank you!! I have been on here all morning trying to stay busy. Every minute away from him seems to feel like an hour. I know as soon as they pull up I will be running out there to give him a big kiss!!

i dont think there is a solution to your problem i believe every mom goes through it and nothi9ngs going to change that anxiety til your baby returns which isn't a bad thing justb makes you a good mother so just try to relax and dont worry your baby will be home soon and then you wont want to let him go!!!

I am a bit behind the times here so you have probably forgotten all about how anxiously you were awaiting his return. I hope everything went very well and he settled back in with you easily. He was so young to be parted from you. I hope the rest did wonders for you and that you don't need another one again just yet. The feeling of how they are getting on without you does not change much as they get older.

NOTHING WILL EVER MAKE IT ANY BETTER.. AS THEY GET OLDER YOU ARE CONTINUALLY LOOKING OVER YOUR SHOULDER FOR THEM. i WENT TO lONDON FOR A WEEKEND BREAK WHEN OUR CHILDREN WERE 4YRS AND 8YRS OLD AND AFTER ONLY 2 DAYS AWAY FROM THEM, I BROKE DOWN CRYING FOR JOY WHEN I CAME HOME AND SAW THEM. (THEY WEREN'T TOO BOTHERED ABOUT ME THOUGH.)
CHIN UP - YOUR BUNDLE OF JOY WILL BE HOME SOON.
