Ok who has this problem. i have just a cutie puppy of 7 months. He is unpredictable with the excitement piddle. I thought it would be routine and be able to predict it but i really think it is how he decides to feel that day. Does anyone know how to know when the excitement or submissive piddle will come. If only I could predict it, I have had to wash my bedspread 5 times. It seems to get worse as he gets a little older I thought it would get better. Any ideas??

The worst thing you can do is yell at the dog and correct it as this is a submissive act done by a dog that is not very self assured.
The best thing you can do for this dog is exercise the heck out of it outdoors. Take it jogging, biking, to the dog park, hiking, etc etc. The more you relieve her anxiety outdoors, the calmer she is likely to be indoors. Most dogs will grow out of it, but if not, you can purchase male dog wraps from Petco or online that will catch the pee. I think they are called Belly Bands.

Yep I think he was venging out. I have been taking him for longer walks and he literally holds it for one block goes, checks to see if we are going further then he goes again. the little sneak is yelling at me because he wants to walk longer and holds it until he get what he wants. Such a guy!!

My puppy does this too. Its annoying!! I started to yell at her and tell her no everytime she did it and put her in her crate for 3 min. Eventually she got the ponint and dosent do it but once in a great while. Like if theres ALOT of people around. She gets so excited she cant hold it.

Sounds like your puppy just needs to sleep on the floor until this nasty piddle goes away, I know it sounds mean, I treasure everytime my kittens come and sleep with me, but sometimes when you train your puppy you need to make sure it does not ruin your belonging. Good Luck
