Fed up from ants!!!

Did u guys have any basic solution to tackle ants. Infact I'm facing them from quite a few days and now they are just making us impossible to live. We used to find them every where in house on floors, food, drinks, sofa almost every where. So if u guys have any way to tackle them pl' tell me.

Why dont you prove this:
Put the sugar and sweet things in a boul and put the boul on a plate with wather on it.
