It looks like we'll be selling our house. Do any of you have some tips to make it more marketable? I know I'll have to do a lot of cleaning and organizing before we even list it. What do you look for when looking at homes for sale? Is there something most people don't think of? Just want to make sure it's as appealing as possible in this slow market. Thanks!

First thing is curb appeal-make it inviting so i will want to come in. Second thing is declutter- go ahead and pack up all your personal things like pics and such leave a few items to make it look almost like a show room.
Dont hide the windows make it look open and bright.
Clean carpets are a must -lots of people now days want wood floors so if you have them let them shine.
Bathrooms sell- so make sure all your personal items are put away and the tiles are clean.
Arrange the furniture so the room looks as big as possible
if necessary remove some to storage untill you move.
hope these ideas work for you and good luck.
