How do you contribute to your community??

No not really, but then again I live in Denmark, there's not really anyone here to reach out to, not really any poor people!? I do donate a lot of money to the WWF and sponsor a child in Africa though, that must count for something :-)

My husband swears that I pick up stray people like animal lovers pick up stray dogs and cats... We have always donated clothing and food to the local food pantry....like fresh eggs and canned foods which I buy in bulk.... We also, adopt a family 3-4 times a year...by that I mean that when we see a family in need we assist with meals, clothing, and rides to doctors, dentists, grocery stores...things like that.....I have taught numerous woman how to organize and clean their homes...it is surprising how many young mothers have never learned these things.... I truly am a person who loves to help people...I gain so much personal satisfaction from being able to do these things for others.....and feel fortuanate that my husband is tolerate of this charitable side of me...
