tell me what you would do?

last thursday my landlord finally sent some one here to put my a/c in the guy got the wrong size coil said he'd be back the next day to finish didnt come then showed back up yesterday said they had to wait for the part okay just lil delays but then still didnt finish came back today and was in myn attic and steps through my ceiling not falling all the way through but now theres a big whole in my ceiling and my a/c still isnt finished what would you say or do?

I would speak with the landlord and see what can be done about the a/c and the new whole in the ceiling. They would be your first source for answers. If, in turn, they say they will come soon to fix it and do not show up for some time, I would speak with the fair housing authority and see what could be done to fix the irresponsibility of your landlord. Also, it depends on whether you live in an apartment or a rental home. If it's an apartment, their are certain standards they must uphold, and if they fail to do so, search online for the fair housing in your area or bring in a building inspector of your own. If you have to, take them to court. If it is a rental home, there seems to be less that you can do other than contacting a building inspector and taking them to court. I lived in an apartment that had a whole in the bathroom ceiling from a leak from the upstairs neighbor that didn't get fixed for over 2 months. It was disgusting. I regret not contacting someone to get it taken care of, but we ended up moving. I hope this helps!
