It rains alot where I live and I grew up going to the coast 4 or 5 times a year. We have tons of pictures of us out on the beach with coats and hoods, all bundled up. It's hard to find a perfect day on the beach when you're at Crescent City, California. It's windy and foggy, but that never stopped us. It still doesn't. I now take my kids, and my sister takes hers, and we still pack too much extra dry clothes. The kids get wet, but they'd rather play in the sand. This summer I'm taking my puppy, he loves sand.

When everybody is ready, why wouldn't you?! You can still swim in the pool. There are beaches with swimming pool in their areas. You can still enjoy the trip!. What is important is the togetherness of the group in one occassion which will become memorable for everybodyas time past by!

I just want to go to the beach one time to experience a rainy season in the beach.
But if it is a trip, I will really cancel the whole trip because going to the beach is better on a bright shiny day than on a rainy day.

I would go to the beach on a rainy day; but you know what..it wouldn't be to get a suntan. Perhaps, it would be to watch the raindrops dance on the water or to see how many foolish people would swim in the rain;)+

i love it being in the beach when it is raining. not that very strong and drenching one, though...the normal rains to the softer ones. it is more fun and more enjoyable. my family loves to go to the beach whenever the rains fall.

oh yes, definitely, I wouldn't let a little rain ruin a good out of town plan. The rain can be plus if we decide to make it as such, less sun, less heat, less sunburn and stuff like that. the rain would just make the trip sweeter. I will just make sure that we are ready for any eventuality, should the rain stop, I want to be ready, and should the rain end up as a full blown storm I want to be even readier. I am all into making my vacation as fun and as exciting as I or we planned it to be. ^_^

I will go to the beach on a rainy day alone. I like the smell of rain. And I think it is more quiet in a rainy day. I like peaceful life. When I stand by the beach, I can think lots of things, or I think nothing but smell the rain and enjoy the tranquility.
Frankly, I like walking in a small rain. I like the feeling that the rain fall off on my body, then I have a warm bath. It is very comfortable. But now I don't do it. It seems more stupid, I'm 27 years old. I'm not a little girl.

I have a home on the beach, my second home and I begin going there when weather permits us to go there!
So every weekend we watch out of the windows and...if we can see a good day, not a rainy day, we go to beach!
It's really a problem when you depart to go to beach and later, after 3-4 hours weather conditions worsen and it begins raining!
I like more sun than rain. Yes...I would cancel the whole trip in the middle of rain! Anyway..if it's raining and we are at beach...we can go back in our home...so it's not a real problem. Anyway we don't enjoy staying closed at home :-(

I wouldn't. but I only go to the beach to feel the hot weather on my skin and lying lazy on the sand. I'm not looking into swimming in the beach at all. I just happen to live here where the temperature is low most of the time so being at the beach on rainy day doesn't sound like a beach day to me

I guess it depends on the weather. If light rain, i may push through but If it is stormy and looks dangerous, i will surely cancel the trip. Safety first, the trip can be replanned. It is better to safeguard yourlife from danger than to gamble it with a temporary enjoynment.

id cancel it if theres a big chance that itll rain in the beach im planning to go.. the reason im going to the beach is to enjoy the sun and of course the beach. ;) i have this experience wherein it rained when i was already in the beach! i tried to stay on the beach but couldnt coz it was so cold.. thus i didnt enjoy the beach and sun that day! was stuck at the hotel room.

I wouldn't unless the rain is accompanied by an electric storm. I love rain, specially on the beach, I like to swim but I'm not a fan of being burn to crisp by the sun... so a rainy day on the beach is perfect for me. Of course, if it's downpouring the only way to spend the that at beach in that conditions would be if you have a good comfy shelter to eat, rest and change clothes, otherwise you might get sick.
