Were you satisfied with the Gilmore Girl's resolution...

Or, did you feel like they could have said something more. After all, these two women have been our friends for seven years. I felt there was one or two loose ends to tie up.
And, I could never understand the constantly pregnant Sukie. Unless that was just a coverup for the real actress being pregnant.
What do you think.

I was not satisfied with the ending at all. The show never should have ended. They leave it with Luke and Loreli getting back together, there could have been a whole season right there. I think it's all a horrible conspiracy to take away everything I like (yeah far fetched I know, I'm just saying it feels like that sometimes, everything I really like seems to get discontinued.)

I feel like they ended it well. I cryed the whole time I was watching it cause you could really tell that they were saying goodbye. A lot of people I have talked to have said that they would like to maybe see a movie or something. I think that would be a cute idea if the Gilmore Girls would agree. About Sukie's third pregnancy it was a coverup because she did get pregnant in real life. This will be her first Child with her husband that she has been married to since like Season 4 or 5 I think. As far as I know the first two pregancies on the Gilmore Girls she was not pregnant in real life. They only planned for her to have two on the show but when she got pregnant in real life they had do make the whole story line with Jackson not getting the procdure that he was supposed to.

I am a huge fan of the show and I was a bit disappointed by the finale too. In general, I find that most series finales are disappointing. I remember being such a fan of Seinfeld and their was such a buzz around that series finale. I think it is sometimes hard to live up to the hype.

I must admit, as much as i'd hate to say, that Rory's graduation from Yale was a perfect place to end the series.
but with the way the show's been going, it sucked. first off, as a javajunkie, i felt that they didn't give Luke and Lorelai much time to rebuild. sure the friendhsip was there but what about the relationship? they only kissed once the entire season for coffee's sake! and it was even cut off too.
they could have done so much with the show if they went furthur. and i though that a shortened season for season eight was a great idea. better than nothing! but then they had to announce that it was canceled! something told me that this wasn't how ASP immagined the season finale to be.
although, i loved how the last scene reflected the last scene of the pilot. i like that concept. and i loved that Lorelai's relationship with her parents was being rebuilt. it's nice to see some civilty between them.
But come on people! they can do so much better!
over all, Luke and Lorelai forever, Jess rules!
(And i'm sorry to Jess haters, but that's just me. Javajunkie and Literati forever!)

I must admit that I was not at all satisfied with the ending. I understand that the actors did not feel that the show could continue, but couldn't they have given a little more finality.
Rory doesn't have Logan, and Lorelai maybe has Luke, but she is still married. Ugh. I was not happy at all and seriously started crying when I realized that it was the final show. No Slide show of the last 7 years nothing. Just a thanks for seven year.
I was completely disappointed.

I have been a faithful, dedicated, loyal (shall I go on??) fan of this show since Day 1. I have bought every series on dvd, and was wanting so much more.
I was very disappointed in the ending-- we all deserved more-- the characters deserved more. The writers really messed up this one.
I can't believe it's gone and over.
I never thought I would 'connect' with a show like I did-- but that was definitely a show that I considered family.
Seems like the writers just washed their hands of it, and didn't put a whole lot of efforts into a wrap up.

I think it was more the actors pushing to have it done with than the writers being lazy - either way, I agree it was disappointing! Losing the show was bad enough - they could have at least given us some real closure. I spent the whole last season waiting to see Lorelie all dressed up in her wedding dress!

Me too!! What a rip off!
I did watch Evan Almighty the other night and it was nice to see Lauren Graham in that movie since I hadn't seen her in anything since Gilmore Girls.
I missed it if Rory ever said yes to what's his name when he proposed to her? For some reason, I think she said no?

I loved how their ending scene is the same with the pilot.. I cried when I watched the episode.. even thinking about it right now, I feel like crying.. Yes, sure there are some loose ends.. Maybe they wanted us to make our own conclusion and just keep the Gilmore Girls alive in our minds and hearts.. Although hopefully the TV movie comes out soon and has a happy ending..
