I have a female she's mixed with colli n chow. And I notices her, I mean in chucks. I was just wondering if it is because its getting hot and shes shedding?

Is it balding in areas or is it just thining out? If she's balding in areas you might ask your local vet, because something may be wrong. If she's just thining out, then its most likely shedding.

No theres no bald spots just hair loss. She looks like a sheep when they are getting their wool shave.

That sounds like typical seasonal shedding with a collie or chow. Some of the ones I see at work, you can pull the clumps out by the handfulls. As someone else mentioned, regular brusing can help.

Well, shedding is very obviously shedding, but if it's coming out in clumps leaving bald spots, I'd take her to the vet to test for alopecia or a thyroid disorder.

Dogs with double coats like Collies and Chow Chows blow their coat in spring every year. You can assist the process by brushing her everyday and washing weekly to keep the hair out of your carpet.

thank you so much because I do see new growth under it and when I bathed her and brushed, put her flea n tick stuff on her that is when I really noticed it.
