sent directly to your bank account? Up until this month, I normally just let it sit in paypal and spend it whenever. I called it my Ebay money. However, lately, more and more i'm using half.com instead, and that doesn't come out of my paypal money. I have to pay debit for that!! So, this month, I'm actually going through the hassle of verifying my account to get it sent to one of my bank accounts. how about you? what do you do with it?

I transfer it to my savings account as soon as I am paid. Don't spend it at all.

You know, i think 750 since 4/05 is a heck of a lot better than absolutely nothing at all. so i think you're doing very very well! You know, you might call a loan officer. we qualified for something from the state that paid our down payment on the house, b/c we had absolutely nothing to put down. I think when we originally got the wild hair and went to lendingtree.com there was like...5 dollars in the bank. LOL it had been a tough couple of months, but that was still better than those ugly negatives!! LOL but it might just be worth a try. we got 4500 for a down payment but depending on the area you are looking in, you could get as much as 10K and the only way you'd have to pay it back is if you move in less than five years. so it might be worth looking into. My wife taught me that they worst they can say is no. And no, doesn't always mean no, forever, sometimes it's no, not right now. They'll give you advice on what to do and say hey, come back in six months after you've done this, and you'll probably be approved! No is hard to take, but no isn't always forever.

Well I wish I could say a house but since all we have managed to put in there since April 2005 is $750. Not much of a down payment huh? So now I am just focusing on saving in case of job loss or emergencies. Guess I grew up LOL!!!

I always go into paypal and verify it to get it sent to my bank account so I can use it when I use my debit card.

does it really cost a certain percentage to get it sent to your bank account? and does there have to be a minimum deposit amount? thats what another mylot user said, and i just haven't looked into it yet so i thought i'd be lazy and ask you!

Okay. that's good news. mylot money is hard earned, and those few cents that might have gone to paypal might constitute an evening's hard work! LOL i'm j/k. I'm glad to hear there's not a charge, but i think i'd rather have it in my bank account that languishing online, anyway. Thank you for the info!!

I think you have to have more than $10 to transfer but don't quote me on that. I have only transferred like $12.35 and $13.45 each time so I'm not actually sure if it costs. I have never seen any fees charge on either paypal or my bank account.

I've only made about 40 on mylot, but it's been fun making it. I used to spend it on ebay, but i'm actually finding now where i can find a lot of stuff cheaper than the things going on ebay, and for books and movies we use half.com which doesn't use paypal. So i'm thinking i'll have it put in my account, so i can use it on half.com. LOL irony..earn it online, receive it online, have it sent electronically to my bank, so i can use a small piece of plastic to pay for something online!

Well so far I have left it in my paypal and not spent it- I have to update my bank account information through paypal- I am planning on transferring the money into my bank account right before my trip in November- Each year me and 2 friends go Christmas shopping for a long weekend- I'm hoping to make enough here and through other sites to do all my Christmas shopping- How long does it take to transfer money to your bank account through paypal??

That's a good idea! My family's actually part of a christmas club, where they take a certain amount of money from each of your direct deposits and puts it in a savings account for christmas spending. that works well for us, b/c i hate to have to scrunch money around the end of the year! With paypal, i'm still in the process of verifying my account. It takes a couple of days to verify, but once that is done, i'm assuming since it's an electronic transfer then it won't take long at all. maybe one or two business days at the most. And i wish you VERY good luck on mylot for your shopping!!

Thanks for the luck! It's a blast to go on our annual shopping trip- I have earned some from other site's and offers- I guess I should switch my bank account soon- Mine is the wrong one- I have switched accounts and not updated paypal- I don't even remember how to do it- I'd hate to wait til the last minute and then not transfer in time! : )

I usually just leave it in there as I buy from Ebay and Amazon on a regular basis and just use it for that. If I have a particularly large amount in there, which has happened once or twice, then I'll transfer some of it into my bank account.

I don't know that i've got any large amount. :) i used to buy a lot of stuff on ebay, but then my wife found Half.com which is part of ebay, and we use that a lot more now. Normally whatever i'm looking for i can find around this area, or on half.com. but i live pretty close to several large cities, so it's easier for me than for someone who lives in a more rural area.

I've been leaving my myLot earnings in my paypal account. I acutally just made a purchase on ebay recently that used up most of it anyway. I have, in the past, transferred money out of paypal to my bank account when I sold things on ebay. I don't earn muc on myLot, so I don't mind leaving a little in the paypal account. I just prefer to put large amounts in the bank so it can earn some interest.

I don't buy as much off of ebay as i used to. for the things i look for, i've found it's actually cheaper on other sites that won't take the money out of paypal. So i think i'm going to have it electronically transferred to my bank account so i can use my little square plastic card to spend it on the internet. LOL have you noticed how little of our money we actually SEE these days?

Considering I have a paypal business premier account and I lso have a paypal debit card attached to my paypal account when I have money in my paypal account I can just go anywhere I want and use my card. Or go to an ATM and take the money out.

LOL so you make way more on paypal than i even think about. i'd heard about the paypal debit card, how awesome is that? We've thought about getting started in ebay, but right now we're completely swamped with some other stuff, so it'll wait a bit.
