Well well well friend,I believe false religion and science can do a great deal of harm like they have already done in society today. False religion has blasphemed God's name and the bible even by teaching doctrines of men. Definitely then true religion habours the greatest truth ever.Besides, the bible is not a scientific book but however when it touches on scientific matters, it's absolutely accurate. For example, long before scientist discovered the earth was round, it was already fore told in the bible many milleniums ago. Compare Isiah 40:22 "There in one who is dwelling above the circle of the earth".

A sphere is composed of an arc just as a circle is,so it would really not make much difference to call it a circle than saying it is flat just as scientist earlier thought.Am not against scientists but when their research goes contrally to what the bible says about nature they are absolutely wrong and they come to discover it later. Also, I know everyone believe that what they believe is actually truth, otherwise they would not believe in them, but however, the Bible which some don't believe in is like a mirror for mankind. Read the bible, analyse it, and understand it then you will know whether what you believe is agreeable to God or not.2Timothy 3:16 say "All scripture is inspired by God.............

A circle is not a sphere. The church has a rather brutal record of dealing with people who said it was in fact a sphere and was not the centre of the universe. The bible is not even a very good history book and is close to zero when it comes to science. What may be the true religion to you is not to everyone. There are a lot of people who have deeply held beliefs but are not Christian. Their beliefs are as precious to them as yours are to you.

If is truth you seek look to science. This is not to put religion down but with the great number of religions truth is rather elusive. If there can be only one absolute truth in religion, which one is it? While some science can be put to uses that are not so good I have never heard of anyone being killed in the name of science.

Yes,millions of people have been killed in the name of religion,I have read the history of how the Catholic and Anglican religious leaders supported Hitler in the mascre of thousands of people because of their relgion, however as I said, the fault lies not with all religion but with false religion. True christians are no part of the world, meaninig they don't take part in politics, nations war or any kind of violence and are not involed in non scritural celebrations [john 15:19, Jmaes 1:27. Instead the practice genuin love among themselves world wide, and this is their indentity to time indefinite. John13:35 says, "By this all will konw that you are my disciples, if you have love among yourselves".

If you find a religion that practices these things, then know that you have found the truth. Like I commented, I am not against science, infact I credit scientist for many of their work that has not harmed mankind, how those that are discovering things that are damaging our planet earth, sorry for them, the Almighty God himself says at Revelation 11:17,18. ".....to bring to ruin those ruining the earth."

I will consider religion a great deal cos Science will only end in this world, but when we die in Christ, we'l ascend with Christ to heaven when He comes in power and glory. Thanks

I agree, both can do good and bad. Here's a question for you - Does science support religiion? Does religion support science? In my opinion the answer to 1. is No escept when the doctor treating a patient has done nothing to improve their health and yet they have and the doctor understands he/she had help. In my opinion the answer to 2. is Yes as long as new life forms are not being created, as long as aborted fetuses are not being used as lab rats, etc. What do you think?

I agree with you too a point, but neither of them are certainties, they come from things that we have taught ourselves throughout history. In both religion and science it is our race that have written, created in fact, so is there a god looking after everything including science, or are we the gods of religion and science. This debate is one that will never be solved so long as logic is a term that we created. Thanks for your comment

I see your points and though I can say nothing to prove the validity of my opinion at least the one good thing is we can benefit from both religion and science if we choose to. Neither has to be ruled out as both have wonderful benefits to be reaped.
