Who if your favorite guitarist?

Dave Gilmour (Pink Floyd, of course) in addition to some of those already mentioned. And who can forget Bill Nelson of Be Bop Deluxe, or Buck Dharma of Blue Oyster Cult? Oh yeah, most people.:-)

George Harrison was an excellent guitarist, the most natural musician of the Beatles (the others were more into showmanship). George seemed to take music more seriously, he taught himself until his fingers bled, at age 14. His talent was very underrated, because he was so quiet. Clapton is very good too!

Well, there was dimebag. (sigh) just a darn shame that he had to die. Herman Li isn't too bad. You know, that oriental guy from DragonForce, (Through the Fire and Flames). I don't necessarily enjoy lyrics and whatnot, just as long as there is a decent solo or an instrumental.

Nick Zinner of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. His riffs are just brilliant...but then again this is one of my all time favorite bands, from guitarist, to drummer to Karen O's lovely and sometimes crazy vocals and lyrics. Definitely a band that worth the time.

I think my favorite guitarist would have to be Jimmy page from Led Zeppelin, he plays a mean 12 string. I also like Eddie Van Halen, he mastered the hammeron.

I don't know many guitarist.. My brother's the guitar freak in the family. He'd tell you a whole list of his idols. But anyways, while growing up I listened to a lot of GNR so I guess I'd have to go with Slash. I love the way he bends very low while playing the guitar. I think he's awesome.. =D

I would have to say that Eddie Van Halen is my favorite guitarist and my favorite all time. He definitely knows how to play the guitar and loved listening to Van Halen's music. He is just awesome. There are many great guitarists out there but I enjoy him the most. Hendrix is definitely a great guitarist as well.
