well then, tell me then what will be the best chinese language to learn first. then, once my son will be learning enough chinese, he can chat with you and your girlfriend so he can rehash his chinese to the way it should be spoken. i hope that this will be fine with you. my son by the way, is a stay at home child since he is battling with his leukemia. he is doing better now, though.

my youngest child is trying to learn the language through online tutorial lessons at the internet. what will you recommend to be the most appropriate one to study first? will you go for mandarin or fookien? this is the problem that one must hurdle first if he tries to learn a chinese language, right? having been faced with this predicament and he still unresolved at this, he is now switching to japanese. he is on his way now to understanding japanese songs which are featured in the internet, too.

It is always hard to study a new language,I think Chinese is a little hard than English, but if you practice more, you can learn it well.

Wo xiang shuo hao zhongwen but I have a long long way to go lol..I am still stuck on wo ai ni hahaha..
I can't help it, once you are bitten by the love bug your brain goes all mushy. I love Mandarin and think it is a very beautiful language, along with my lovely Chinese Hubby. I really wish I could speak it from birth then I would have studied all the classics and learned calligraphy and all that..

Chinese is not that difficult like how do you think.Chinese totally has 50,00 words, but in our daily life we just need two-fifth of them.Maybe what you think most difficult is'cheng yu',but we just use them occationally when chatting.Learning Chinese is no big deal!
