If you have never heard of these stones they are large granite blocks located in Elberton,Georgia and known as the American Stonehenge.Their origins are mysterious but the message they carry is clear: Wipe out nine tenths of the worlds population. That's a lot of people. You can read the full article on them and get related links here. There is a good video about them on the site too http://www.squidoo.com/GeorgiaGuidestones/

You know what, I just went there to see it myself last weekend. You are right, the message on the inscription kind of disturbing somehow. But why would they say something like that? So, is that mean we might go through another apocalypse again?

I read the article. I thought it was really ineresting. I don't like the fact that some people in religious circles want to tear it down and use the stones for other buildings. I don't think that is right. What if God sent an angel in the name of R.C.Chritian to tell us something and these people have their way and dismantle the stones. Wouldn't we all suffer? I think they should leave them alone!

I am not even religious. Like at all. But looking at these stones gives me chills. Keeping the population under a certain number. How are "they" planning on doing this exactly? It's like those paintings at the Denver International Airport that apparently represent peace. If I understand the paintings correctly, I can see where the "peace" comes into it. But how they got to the "peace" is by killing off a LOT of people first.

you are right to presume that many are not aware yet about the existence of these stones and their having been uncovered. as for that message to wipe out ninety percent of the world's population, that will not be a surprise anymore. this has happened before. noah and his family were the only survivors after the deluge. there was of total of eight persons who were accommodated in that ark of noah. to recall that will be noah and his wife, their three sons and a wife for each one of the sons.

I have seen that before about the Georgia Guide Stones and yes I agree it does seem eerie, I dont think they know who put them there, now that would be interesting to know and why they were put there.
