If you were to choose, in what country would you like to live?

Personally, I still want to live here in the Philippines. I love the beautiful pristine beaches it offers. Its cultures, traditions, the weather and all. But I do want to visit and see France. I want to see the Eiffel Tower in actual. And I think that the environment there is really a classic and superb, not to mention that it's the country well known in fashion. How about you? Do you like to live in a different country? Or do you love and still prefer your own?

i am a filipino. i would still prefer to live here not because that i am patriotic but because life is easier and beautiful here where i am with my family and a lot of friends.in manila, where ever i go i can't seem to get enough of seeing different friends around. in here i can get by even with a minimal financial resources.talking to a lot of foreigner friends living here in manila they said that this is the best place to be considering they have travelled around the world.if you are to ask me,aside from the philippines, where i would prefer to live, i would say new zealand.

Yeah, me too. I still prefer here for the main reason of familiarity. Also, all the people I love and close to me are here. I wouldn't trade them for the world.

Its no place like home so i still like to live in our country Philippines. It really differs maybe because we grow up here but i really love our place and if ever i'll leave in other country i will still come back here to live old. Though there are countries that i also love because i like travelling but its not the same as what where we really live in.

You're right! There's really no place like home. But if I were to go abroad, maybe I will just go overseas to work for like 2 years. I will just save enough money to put up my own business here. One problem here in the Philippines is that money is really hard to earn. Unlike if we go abroad and just save some amount of dollars, we can already put up our own business since dollar conversion rate here is high.

If the Lord is willing, I might be working in Canada in a call center. I have a job offer and I'm now processing my papers. Hopefully, everything will work out fine. I will be working in Nanaimo City in Vancouver Island and it's a very nice place with lots of beaches and a mild temperate climate. Check this out: http://www.nanaimo.ca/ I'm praying that I would be able to go so I could also bring my family there.

Wow. That's nice to hear. Hope you can make it. I still haven't checked out the site you gave but I think that Canada is a real nice place. Anyways, I'll check out the site later. If it's really your desire, then pray for it so God will give it to you. That is, if it's also His plan for you. Good luck!!!

I would stay right her in the United States of America. I cannot imagine living anywhere else. I enjoy comforts that many don't and I have my freedom, which is second to none. I can't imagine living anywhere else or having government run my life. The freedom of religion is probably the thing I appreciate most. I honestly do not understand some countries that do not allow Christianity in their nation.

Well, I am perfectly happy in Canada, but I think I would prefer to live in a different part of Canada. I live in a large urban area and prefer the rural countryside. I would also love to go further north. I like the cold :) cheers

Well, I actually did leave my country to live in another one. I´m from Canada, but I live in Guatemala, although that wasn´t my intention when I left Canada. I had planned to travel for a while and then go back, but I fell in love here and here I stayed! I like Guatemala, apart from some difficulties like not having a bathroom at the moment and stuff like that, and have no intention of returning to my home country to live.

I know this is SO cliche but like everyone has said, there's no place like home. I would still love to live here in Malaysia. I know everyone has their reasons as to why they wanna live where they live. My reason is simple.. it's the the food!! =D

Generally I want to live in my own country. For my family and friends, its people, its culture and its environment. I like the feeling of familiarity. So I don't have the idea of living in other countries. But like you, I hope I can have the opportunity to visit some country, like France,Korea,Singapore.

I traveled alot, and Ive been to many different countries. Currently Im in the USA...and leaving political stuff out, I think I would pick this country. The Reason? easy... The country has everything you want...from mountains, plains.....beaches.. to a variety of different people from different ethical backgrounds. If you really think about it... Good and bad people exist in all countries... just as "wonders" are different all over the World. I respect all other countries...each with their own Beauties and beliefs.
