This is just a fun discussion . its all about money and what you can buy with ten dollars. (Or whatever that is equivalent too in your country) For ten bucks I can go to a matinée at a theater and even have a small popcorn. Ok I want you to come up with ONE thing only that you can buy with ten bucks . Tell us why you like to use your money for that. Remember ONE thing only. (if its related to it like the movie and popcorn then its ok to add it in).

I could buy a t-shirt of some kind. Hum...well I can think of several things together that would add up to ten, but i am having a hard time thinking of just one thing I can buy with 10. lol I think I could buy my chemical start up kit for our pool...I believe that is right around 10.

Hello, mssnow, ten bucks is like nothing in australia,it is not even to buy a lunch. For me,i will use it to buy 5 pizzas in the pizza shop,I like to eat pizza, sometimes,i will go to that shop and buy a few when it is about to close, they sell it at half price to me,($2 dollars each).

If it is restricted to one thing only, simple. A donation ticket. In Singapore, most donation tickets are in $10 denomination, or at least, those I have bought are $10 a ticket.

It is a donation. Often there is a lucky draw, at times there is a fun fair, but then.... I would have forgotten about it when that day comes.

I guess the equivalent in UK money to ten bucks is probably about £6 or £7, I think I would buy a lovely big bunch of flowers to cheer myself up and to have in the home, the type that last and give off a wonderful aroma. I could get a nice bunch for that amount.

If I could only buy one thing... that's a tricky one. I'd probably go down to Borders or Barnes and Noble and peruse the bargain section, maybe find a nice novel or historical piece to read for a few days (what can I say, history nerd here.) Maybe, if I had a few bucks left, a drink to have while I read... hehehe.

I can buy lots of stuff for $10. I like to have something to show for my money so don't go to the movies. $10 goes a long way in second hand stores, supermarkets, markets, and where i shop for clothes if they're having a sale. Thrift shops are good too for clothes. I could pick up a nice plant for a tenner and travel to and from town and a little further on that much. $5 will get me 2 pcs of KFC and chips.

I love to bargain hunt. Just last week I went to Macy's and bought a dressy blouse for a special occasion. It was forty percent off and with my Macy's credit card, they took an extra ten percent. The blouse cost me $9.08 and I'll get lots of use out of it so for me, that was a great bargain.

I can buy several litters of gasoline for my car and visit relatives their in Pangasinan and be back at evening here in Baguio. 10 buck is about 500 pesos here so you could still do a lot with it. I love visiting relatives and just talk and get update on what's going around the family. Calling them on the phone is just not enough. So a visit is most welcome.

What an interesting discussion u have started - Well Done. Ten bucks, hmmm. I am a AC Moore a craft store fanatic. I would take my coupon wether it is 40% or 50% off and buy a large expensive Vase, clear and not too many short roundings or edges. Since I can print my weekly coupons online and u only alowed to use one coupon per person I will put my purchase in the car and go back inside to buy another simmilar or same. I have promised myself to spend only 10bucks on myself per week...at that store only - LOL. And I do! Since I decoupage vases and complete it with the BIG 5 African Animals I get to sell them and make almost 100% or more on my item. Now I think that is ten bucks worth while spent...don't u?

I bought enough ice to camp for 4 days,it was 7.50. but If I had stayed one more day it would have been $10, so for $10 I can buy enough ice to camp for 5 days, maybe 6 but we had milk and I did not let the ice get even a little low.
