At what age do you let your kids play GTA?

I think that when I have kids, they'll only be allowed to play GTA after age 14. It's too violent for the younger kids.

Yea, i agree with you it is a M-Rated game and 14 would be a suitable age for them to play the wonderful game. It has some really adult content which i think would not be suitable for kids of a lesser age.

Oh yes, it's one of my favorite video games, ever. GTA and Resident Evil 4.
I saw these parents buying Vice City for their 8 year-old son in a store! The sales clerk even asked them: Hey, this is a a mature title, do you really want to give it to your kid?
The kid looked at them with puppy-dog eyes and the parents were like "It's fine, he really wants it."
What a brat!

It depends on the child and it's hard to tell unless your the parent. If you know that your child is sensible and has his/her head screwed on straight then maybe when he's/she's a bit younger. It all depends on how impressionable they are. I used to work in a library that rented out games and a grandparent was getting one of the gta games out for their grandchild who was only about 12 so I told them that I personally didn't think it was suitable and he tried the puppy dog look but without being harsh I told them not to get it as it was a bit too extreme for a child his age. The thing is you can't stop a child wanting something that is aimed at something that's meant for older kids I was the same.
