i haven't been posting anything online here in mylot, i wasn't in the mood because i'm not feeling well. every month i suffer from migraine, i'm not sure what's triggering it lately. it might be the weather too much heat, eating chocolates, or ice cream, no regular excercise, or do i just have a bad eyesite. is there a remedy for this? if not is there a healthy way of avoiding it?
thanks for all of your help :).

If you are getting a migraine once a month it could be a premenstrual migraine, I used to get these alot but not anymore, ever since I started doing yoga, my migraines went away. I do yoga for flexability, so you stretch alot and it works wonders for reducing stress. once I'm done with my video, I feel great and relaxed.
The pills my doc gave me only worked for awhile, this stopped working completely. The only pill that worked for me was Excedrin for Migraine but, I don't need them anymore.

I guess, migraine is not curable, but it can be comforted by taking pain relievers. I do have migraine too. And it occurred mostly when I don't eat on time, when there is too much stress, heat and overfatigue. That is why I got lots of pain reliever in my medicine cabinet. "crocyn" is my medicine and it works well with me.

Sounds like it might benefit you to go to your Dr. and have them look into what is causing these. I know for me a lot of mine are hormonal, and I now take Hydrocodone when I feel one coming on. It seems to usually work for me. Migraines are definately not Fun. Sometimes they can be added Stress on your life also. Wishing you Luck with these, and hope your Doctor can help you.

Sadly there isn't a cure unless it's being caused by something particular. If your doctor has rulled out things like neuroligical problems or tumors then there problably isn't much you can do to cure it.
What I would suggest doing is keeping a log and see what could be triggering the migraines. It could be as simple as that time of the month. Hormonal changes can cause them. So can some foods, weather changes, even lack of sleep so it's best to keep a log of everything so that way you can find out what triggers the migraines.

I don't think there is a cure. I get at least 6 a month. Sometimes more, and they can last for days. I hate them. I have tried every type of medications there are. NOTHING. Days lost in bed. This is no way to live, I have had them for about 25 years. It stinks!!

I am sufferring of the same problem. But it only occurs whenever there's too much work i the office or if I am feeling depressed over some personal issues. So I guess the really cure on this one is having a clear peace of mind and proper rest. That is the only way I can get away with it without taking any medication.
