wt shd india do to win the 2011 world cup ?

If team India wants to win the cricket world cup 2011 then they will have to start practising for the upcoming worldcup from now.As the cricket world cup 2011 is going to be held in Indian Sub-continents India has very nice chance of winning this world cup in front of their home crowd.Indian selection comity will have to take important decisions in selecting the final players for the world cup if they want to win this world cup 2011.India should practice more on their fielding as if they want to win the cricket world cup they should play well in all the three compartments of the game,whether its batting,balling or fielding.As we know that cricket is a team game and it can not be won by a single player performance so all the players should contribute to repeat the 1983 world cup history.

I too think it is very very early to even think about it. They still had to boost their confidence even after having a successful tour to Bangladesh.They still had lot to learn, at present they are not even close to teams like S.Africa, Australia so forget about the world cup that has just endedfew months back. It is now all new begining and we have to do all from the starting. Team management are trying to give chances to fresh facesin the team and it is all upto them how they learn to tackle preesure under most adverse cicumstances. Hope if all goes well, we will not remain far away from the cup for long.

All the other opponents should give a walkover. :) Ok. On a more serious note, i guess this is too early to think about the 2011 world cup. There are plenty of tournaments which they have to do well before even thinking of the world cup. They should go on a tournament by tournament basis. They should have more wins under their belt. That is when the confidence starts coming. As we all know, winning is a habit. Just one loss can turn the tide as it happened in West Indies last year, where due to one loss the entire direction of the Indian team went wayward. They should avoid such inconsisties first and foremost if they have any chance of winning the world cup. World cups are usually won by not only by the team in form but who are consistent over a period of time. And winning more away games would do their confidence a world of good.
