How will you react ,if your neighbour put your name to his Dog or Cat

Very funny ,what a topic for discussion.i will think "AHAM BRAHMASMI"and i will buy a dog and will put his name on that dog.now every think is equal .he is happy and me alos happy and the dogs are also happy.

Ha ha ha! If my neighbor decided to name their animal after me. I would take it as a compliment. Whether they meant it or not. Ovisously I would of done something that have been forged in their brain that they can't forget. As long as they treat the animal with love and care I would have no problem with it at all.

if they had done it wantedly to irritate and insult me, i wouldnt go and fight with them. instead, i would silently keep their names to my pet and insult them as they do. then they would automatically keep quite :)

To b e honest with you i don't feel comfortable if i have the same name with the pets .But what can i do because it's not under our control ,as ev ery one has a right to name their pet what ever they want. As you said if some one that you know and they did it on purpose just to make fun of you by naming their pet with your name,i will get really upset about it.

A couple of my friends have dogs named Candy, lol. One of the dogs is actually called Candace (mine's Candyce), so it makes things a little confusing, but I enjoy it. I had to tell him to whistle when he was calling the dog so I wouldn't keep wearing myself out trying to find out what he wanted. It's a huge joke now amongst my old friends. Blessed Be

I used to run a dog shelter and a few people who I adopted animals to, named them after me, because of th good care they got while they were with me, i thought that was pretty cool.Later on a couple different co-worjers named their babies after me, they just liked my name! Lookit me, all influential,LOL!

Something like that almost happened to us once. We got a little dog, and her previous owner had named her Jenny. There was a child across the street named Jenny, and when we would call the dog, the child would come. We changed the dog's name to Penny, so it would still sound like the name she was used to, but so it would not confused the child.

I'd probably be a little embarrassed. just imagine this, my neighbor is calling his dog and since the dog & me shares the same name, I probably be answering back! ^__^;; that is of course, if I don't know that he had given his dog the same name as mine. but if my neighbor and me were not in good terms, I would think he named his dog after me just to spite me, and then, I would do he same. I'd get a dog and name it after him. LOL
