Since childhood, I have only started learning to play musical instruments - guitar, flute, many more - but I took none of those lessons seriously, so I never learned how to play those instruments. When I became a member of the marching band, I somehow learned to use the marching band drums and the glockenspiel. You?? Can you play any musical instrument? Did you attend serious lessons to learn how to play it?

you have a humorous way of looking at things. but if we look at it deeply, our vocal chords are good musical instruments, indeed. this is why it also needs a lot of good training in order to master how to play it right.

I have learnt the piano when i was 6 years old, so it was my childhood, but after two years i didn't think to continuou the practices. It was so hard to me, but i think i plan to learn piano someday. I want to be a profesional musican, a pianist.

I wish you had taken the music lessons seriously in childhood, I had no such opportunities when I was young but I learned to play mandolin and the keyboard after graduation. I miss having music lessons in childhood.

I LOVE playing music. I started piano when I was 6, and have never stopped playing it since then (10 years). Then I learned trumpet in fourth grade. I got bored one summer a few years ago and learned the saxophone (just a little, not anything serious) In 10th grade, my teacher didn't ask me if I would go to second chair for trumpet, he just put me there (because he felt that the people in second and third chair were too quiet). I didnt want to play second chair (as it is not challenging to play the notes, they are too low) so I moved to tuba as we needed a tuba player. I learned that in about a week. Then 2 of my friends forced me to join marching band. I wanted to play the "mellophone marching french horn (which is the same as trumpet, lower pitched though) One of my friends wanted me to be her rookie, so she told the director I could play tuba and he moved me to sousaphone by force. Now I am in the process of learning the trombone to play in band. Piano 10 years trumpet 6 years saxophone 2 years tuba 1 year sousaphone 3 months trombone 3 weeks The only ones I am not "fluent" in are saxophone and trombone (but only for the time being!)

While in college I learned to play the guitar all by myself but later I had one really teach me. However, the desire to keep on playing faded and I havent touched my guitar for many years already and is just kept there in my bedroom brooding all my himself. I also learned to play the bamboo flute just recently but it's something that I just felt like learning and then I lost interest when I learned how to play it. Oh! Im so changeable as ever!

When I was much younger the school I was at required everyone to learn an intrument. Unfortunately the only one we could get was a trombone, so that is what I learned to play. I got fairly good at it, but I haven't played it in years and years.

Hi, vesuvius. I can't play any musical instrument till now. What a pity! :-0 I'm longing for learning to play the piano. If there're any opportunities, I'll learn to play it. I hope I can play it smoothly in the future. Have a happy day! :)

I started to learn music at the age of 4. I started with theory first which taught by my auntie who is a music teacher. Then, when I was 7 and started going to primary school and I join the School Military Band, music is one of my subject. I played Auto-Saxophone and attended the lesson from school till the age of 16.
