Sgt. Pepper's 40th anniversary today....

Today (June 1st) is 40 years ago that the Beatles released the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band album. What's your opinion on this album ? Were you even born when they released it ? Do you know it ? Do you like it ? Let me know....

No, I wasn't born at the time. But sure I love it, it's one of my favorite albums, along with ALL of their albums actually. xD Well, what more can I say? It's a classic, inovative, with a great mix of instruments, genres and compositions. Those lads did a great job!

I especially like the sleeve... I've had the album for over 25 years now, and everytime I take it out of the cupboard I discover new things on it !

I love the Beatles and have this CD too. I love all of the songs on it, especially "With A Little Help From My Friends", the title song "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" and "When I'm 64". I can remember watching them in black & white on Ed Sullivan in 1964 when I was 4 years old. :)
