You ,Christ and the Reality of Hell

I don't find this very serious but I would blame myself, and whatever religious figure is in charge because they did such a damn poor job of getting their message across. Given the example of the Christian god I wouldn't blame anyone. I find little admirable about the Christian religion and, given their version of god, I would still reject him. He is pictured as cruel, pschotic, a mass murderer, a liar, a being that likes to play head games, a being that abandons good people over a supposed slight, a being whose ego is so fragile that he desperately needs worship. But then the chances of me actually worrying about this are about the same as me winning the lottery 10 times in a row.

well to be honest I can't respect any deity that thinks a good person with different beleifs actually deserves an eternity of punishment. how very petty. if they care so much that people beleive in them then they need to make people more aware of them, instead of hiding away behind old books with no proof of it being fiction or non fiction. still. I know that I'm not hellbound, no matter how much people try and tell me otherwise. it's only logical to beleive in Gods that you know in your heart are there for you over Gods in a book, written by a fallible species.

I was raised in a hell and brimstone church and I can say it really turned me off from religion. Fortunately along the path of life I have learned more about gods love and not just damnation. I think that if you want to talk about religion we should talk about the good and the bad as you would objective look at any parent. I would be sadder still to be in hell because I caused a gentile soul to be lead there than I would if I myself were there. So ultimately where ever we go will be our choice when this life ends and cant really make excuses for what someone else lead us to.
