Mylot banner contest

Will anyone be entering the mylot banner contest? I will not be as I charge $20.00 for non animated and $45.00 for animated banners. Most sites charge around $20.00
If mylot decides to use your banner they will pay you a dollar? I guess this contest will be ok for Amateurs, but I wonder if any one who designs banners for a living will enter.

A dollar? You gotta be kidding me! Why are they doing this contest? Don't they want to draw in the talent to create their banner? I guess possible they want to make everyone feel like they have a chance but a dollar that is rude!

It is either rude or just plain cheap. They are making a sucker bet--you know that some people are going to play. They will get something out of it.

I can understand your husband is a web designers and graphics too.But there are so many sites who will create a banner for you free.I have created my banner from this site.Please see my banner.

That is a banner generator and is meant for your personal use. You should have read the terms which read...."It is illegal to redistribute, sell, decompile, disassemble or otherwise modify the Content." By designing it for mylot and them paying you, you are selling it.

I am not a professional by no means, on the graphic making department. But even I wouldn't do it, for a possible chance of a $1 prize, if they use my banner for many to see. *shakes head*

I won't be- I don't have the time- or the knowledge to do so- I'm not saying I couldn't learn- as I pick up things fairly quickly- but I just don't want to. I hope that some people enter- I'm sure alot of people will- So they will only pay $1- I wonder why anyone would put that much time into anything for $1?

They should at least give a $20 prize or even something like $1 payouts for the rest of your mylot career or something useful like that. If it's seriously only $1 I don't know if I will try.

If I am going to mess around with graphic programs, I would rather make tags for my friends on the MSN groups I belong to. I may not get paid, but it will be more fun for me. A dollar for a banner is so low considering how much work (time) it would involve.
