This is for all the stay at home moms(or dads). I get so bored with the everyday routine of playtime, lunch time, nap time, and clean up time. Often while the kids are watching the cartoons and I'm cleaning up, I'll dance and sing to their songs like I'm at some sort of rock concert and make a total fool of myself. Just to entertain myself a little. If there was a hidden camera in my house I would be so embarrassed! What do you guys do to make things more fun?

that is so funny. i also do this. i dont really do it to entertain myself though. i do it to see if i can get my son to dance with me, or to see if it will make him laugh. if either of those two things happen, then i am entertained. haha. i love to see him dance. he either nods his head up and down, does a spin, or stomps one leg up and down. its the funniest when he is sitting down though, because he will wiggle his legs up and down since he cant stomp them. i try to teach him to do silly things too. that makes me laugh. i have tried teaching him to blow kisses, but he instead learned how to do a fake cough and act like he is covering his mouth. i dont know where he comes up with this stuff!

I have the radio on all day, even when the kids are watching tv. I am also one for singing and dancing. The kids look at me like I am crazy at times!

I like to sing, really loud, to a variety of different types of music. I'm aware of the fact that the people below us can probably hear me but as long as they never say anything to me about it then I don't really care. I make different play lists of music to listen to while I am doing different things. Another thing that I have recently caught myself doing is taking just about any song or jingle I hear go by on the TV while I am cleaning and doing things, and I rewrite it to be about my cat or dog and then I sing it to them.....it's wierd because it isn't something that I think about at all, I just can't seem to prevent myself from doing it, like a hiccup.
