What if.....

How many times have you sat and said, What if.. 1..I had done things this way? 2..I had said I love you more often? 3..He/She did not know how I truly felt before they went away? 4..I had taken his/her advice and followed through? So many other questions can fall under this category...what "what if" have you experienced and how did you deal with it? Did you just let it go, or did you take a different step to turning the What if to a I did it? Let me know! God be with You!

I've tried hard to learn from my what if questions. For example, I've always wondered "what if I went to college," then I did. In 1999, I wondered "what if I started my own business?" And then I did. There are some what if's that I can't change specifically, but I can make sure that question doesn't come up again. Like, what if I didn't marry a bad man and have to get a divorce? That won't happen again.

lol..I can relate to that feeling...3 ex husbands..but something good came from each one, a son from each of the first two, and three beautiful daughters from the last. At 47, I can honestly say that i have acted on many of my What if's...and sometimes the results were not that great, but they were definitely a lesson in life and I am often guilty of having not learned and have to repeat. Just about the time i say "Never again"...guess what I turn around and do it again..lol. But that is the glory of this thing we call life. So many lessons and so many mistakes and so so many joys, all make it so worth living...God be with you!
