Worm Pudding and Worm Cakes.
It's a survival food.
Take as many earthworms as you can find. Kill them. Put them on a warm rock for awhile (until they shrivel and harden). Crush the hardened worms into a powder.
Add a little water, mix it up... Viola... Worm Pudding.
If you are going to be in the same spot for a few hours, drop the worm pudding onto the warm rock again. Let the sun dry the pudding into a cake.
Worm cakes are good for taking with you if you have to walk somewhere.
That's about the only thing they are "good" for, because, while they are very nutritious, no fat and lots of protein, they don't taste very good... but then they aren't awful either.
If you try them, let me know what you thought. ;~D

I'm not exactly sure of the strangest food I've eaten. I have eaten frogs legs, squid, and escargot but I don't find them that strange. I actually liked all of these foods too! I would probably say elk because I don't often hear of people eating this.

The strangest thing I have ever eaten is mushroom icecream with cherry sauce. I had it in a restaurant in Paris some years ago. I had to ask the vaitor if I had understood the menue correctly. It sounded so weird that I just had to try it. It tasted like cold dold mushrooms with cherry sauce. It was very weird - ok - but not a big hit with me.
