What's Your Favorite Color? Does It Represent Your Personality?

My favorite color is black, but it doesn't reflect my personality. I just like black. I don't know why. But I also like orange and green and red.

i don't know if colours really represent something, but i guess they should. my mother became obsesed by feng shui for some time now and tells me what colours i should wear in order for my energies to ... run well, or something. i really don't belive in that... anyway, i have 3 favourite colours: red, blue and white (there is no order) and if it's sunny outside, add yellow as a tribute to the great sun :)

I believe that our favorite colors affect our personality or our personality influlences our choice for colors. I took a personality test base on my favorite color and I was shocekd that it actually shows what kind of a person I am, my moods, and temperaments. I always liked green and blue. But my favorite colors depend on the object. I love black and white animals like panda, penguin, white tiger. I like dappled horse. I like white and lilac flowers. I like blue or green curtains and I love red dress. I also read before that people who wear red have confidence. I used to hate red shirst/dress because I felt too attractive--I hate drawing attention as much as possible. But now I've changed and I love red dresses already. I also noticed a change in my self-esteem. The black and white animals represent the ebony and ivory keys as I like to play the piano. The dappled horse is not common and I don't like common things. So yea, most likely that's all about me base on my favorite colors.

I used to where black when I was a teenager. Now the color is Blue. I have always like that color and it fits me perfectly :)

Hmmm, for the past 26 years, I've been changing my favorite color constantly. It used to be pink, then blue, then red, then green, now, I'm still thinking of what it is. But I think I like blue the most. I don't know if it represents my personality, maybe it does because like the color blue, I'm calm and cool. LOL.

I like earthy colors, but I don't have a favorite colors. I guess any color would represent my personality. Red would probably represent my Irish temper. Black would represent me mourning for a friend who passed on or if I'm in a bad mood. I like any color.

I like black.It's basic and classic and goes with everything.It doesn't really represent any thing in my life.I've wore mostly black since I was a teenager,way before it got really cool and everybody started wearing it.Seriously,in the early '70s the only thing you could easily get in black was rock tee shirts and girls didn't really wear them back then.I did.So I'm a bit of a rebel,what can I say? ;p

black is tops on my list for similar reasons to your friend...it represents the darkness in my life since a very young age BUT it also absorbs that darkness/takes it away from me these days so its kind of like a "never forget..but never let it win" type thing Black is ultimately perfect for me Black = the color of quiet power, self-control, restriction, depression, sickness, changes, rebirth, wisdom, resilience and discipline .....as for actual colours...Purple and blue.... Purple = the color of royalty, charm, meditation, idealism, divination, progress, justice, mysticism, devotion, clairvoyance, luck, accomplishment and religion. Blue = calm, tranquility, peace, loyalty, good will, protection, hope, sincerity, mature love and commitment, truth, patience, sleep, guidance and freedom. all those key words have major significance in my life so both colours are perfect for me and match me beautifully...lOL I guess all three colours are perfect for me really LOL

Just like Francis M's song goes, "every color, every hues, is represented by me and you." By that, I love every color because it represents everything we had in life!;) I like to mix and match colors, because I love experimenting on colors. But blue is the most that I like, with white as my next popular choice. Blue as a symbol of tranquility and peace, while white for purity and cleanliness!;)

my favourite colors are all the kind of light blue and green and yes, I think that they have a link to my life and personality. I love the sea and all the colours the sea can have and therefore...these are the colours of the sea!!! Moreover, they represent the colours of the sky in the early morning and I love the mornings..and well,i hate the pink..I hate looking at myself wearing pink to be correct!!! and i think I can quite have an explanation for this, too..and I can tell you that each morning I choose the colour of clothes according to the weather and my mood, too!!! so definitely, colours can represent our life!

My favorite color is black.......yup...it is......hardly anybody likes this color but i have in my favorite list. Now why if you ask ten i would say that if any other color is there then you can easy see things but in black (dark) you can hardly see anything....you have to make an effort to get yourself adjusted into such atmosphere. And life is all about trying and accepting the challenges.

My favorite color is green. I do not wear it very often and I don't even know why. Even though it is my favorite color, I am just not drawn to it in clothes. I think that you could say it does represent my personality. I love things about nature, surround myself with houseplants, enjoy being outside, like making pottery and working with elements from the earth. Yes, I would say that green represents me.

hello there! :) my favorite color of all time is no other than the color pink. :) i have adored it ever since i was like, 12 years old and now that i am laready 19 years old, i adore it even more. lolz. :) i think it really represents my personality, feminine, girly and pretty. :) lolz. :)

hmmm... I am not so sure if my favorite colors represent me. My favorite colors are green, blue and yellow. Green because it is soothing to the eyes, it has a very calming effect on me. Blue is also pleasing to the eye, most especially my eyes, LOL! and I also love yellow because the color cheers me up. When I see yellow, I cannot help but think of bright sunshiny days.

My favorite color is also pink.It doesnt represent anything in my life.I just like the color and I think i look good in pink.

Being a graphic designer I work with colors. I would say all colors are favorite for me. All colors get its relevance when applied properly. Appropriate usage of a color gives its a character which can be considered, at times, as representation of personality or character of a person. In graphic designing we use only 3 (or 4) colors - Red, Green and Blue (or Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black). All other colors are the combinations of these. Thank you Maryanne for asking.

Oh I didnt know Black was a sad colour.Black is my favourite colour and I love scorpions.I thought Black represented adventure and mystery..hmm also revenge.But I still dont think it entirely represents my life.

I like bright colours. Not over the top, but I guess it does representing my mood. Mostly happy but I'm not really a doom and gloom sort of person so :) Kudos ~Joey

My favorite color is pink and yes it does represent my personality because it is a soft color and I am soft hearted. Some times it is a weakness of mine though and people take my weakness for granted at times.

I love black tops too but it's not because my life is sad or tragic or anything like that. I love black because I think it's a rather not pretentious color and I am really comfortable in wearing black things. It just make me feel so much more alive and myself. When I open my wardrobe, I am amazed to find that 80% of my tops are in black but I am quite happy with it. Sometimes I put on red, pink or other colors too, that really depends on my mood. I think on average 6 days of a week,I would wear black.
