Do you have suggestions for a bithday surprise?

My office have this "un-official" monthly birthday celebration and I'm part of the planning committee for these events. I'm a creative person but sometimes, I feel like running out of ideas already. (What with having to plan different surprises every month! lol)
We've tried these activities in the past:
~ video presentation
~ sort of a treasure hunt for their gifts
~ amazing race type of celebration
~ game show type
I would like to ask if any of you have other suggestions for our next birthday surprise? thanks!^________^

Oh, I wish my office has that. Our office birthday parties are quite boring. Just a normal celebration with food, no games, or programs or anything.
I'm not really creative, but if I was going to plan a party, I really wanted a costume party coz I never attended one. LOL.

yeah, it's quite exciting having these celebrations. I'm a May celebrant so last month, they had a surprise for us, too. (I didn't take part in the planning. hehe) We had a costume party before but that's only for big team building activities. We don't have much budget (time constraints) for the birthdays. ^_______^ it's really fun. you can suggest it to your office too ^_^

Why not make it a theme party? pick a theme and everyone bring a present that relates to that theme. It would be good to find out from everyone what there fav theme is so you know what to buy. For example I like Hawaii so all my persents would be Hawaii related.
Also guess who has the presents is quite popular.

Ask all ladies to check the hands of their husbands thru closed eyes, you have to tie with a towel so that they could not peep thru, send the husband last only.
put eggs on the floor and with closed eyes they walk without touching the eggs,once they closed their eyes please remove the eggs you will see great drama. Once you have done this please tell whether you laughed a lot lol
