So, here's my short list: 1. New York (But only Autumn, Spring and Summer) 2. Chicago (Again, March through October) 3. Austin (Ride over the bat bridge!) 4. Tucson (The old pueblo) 5. San Francisco (Downhill is fun! Uphill sucks!) What is your favorite city to bike in?

i have always wished that biking lanes are established in our city. i know that you mean biking for leisure. but how can people learn to bike like professionals if there are no biking lanes where children can start having the fun? most of those who wants to learn, will have to go yet to some places which are still secluded and traffic free. but not all can afford this. in our city, the well to do's can easily go to the outlying mountainous areas for their activities. this is no big deal for them.

Putrajaya (the administrative city of Malaysia) is very friendly for bike. You can see bike lane and parking everywhere around the city. Many cyclist in Putrajaya day or night. We have Putrajaya Critical Mass (PCM) in Putrajaya every last Friday of the month.

Portland Oregon is also really biker friendly, but the weather is not that great a lot of the year. I am assuming by your list that you are talking road riding as you forgot all the mountain biking mecas. Dylin CO, Moab,UT, Fruita, Moorehead,KY etc. etc. etc.
