I cannot say exactly if I am a workholic. But whatever duties and responsibilities are assigned to me at my job...I prefer to complete it as quickly and as sincerely, as possible.

Hi mexshyl, when I use to work I was very hardworking, always trying to meet deadlines etc, but when it comes to family, they were always my first priority. Yes, work was important but not enough to want to stay away from home or have some time off to spend with them. Now that I am a homemaker I still strive to do my best at home, making sure my husband and son are happy and finding time out for myself in the process.

Hello mexshyl. After I graduated from University, I went and work in another country alone for many years. I took 3 jobs from sunrise to sunset, 7 days a week. My social life that time was not much but I make sure to spare time for a little relaxation. The money I earned from being a workaholic helps me to have a little security right now. I'm reaping from my labor and enjoyed it tremendously.

Hi, charms88.
Glad to share your experiences. You really did a hard job but I'm pleased to know that you never forget the relaxation out of your work. It's not easy for some people to be aware of the importance of it. What's more, you enjoyed it greatly, didn't you? That's great. Hope you can make much more achievement or accomplishments.
Wish you happy every day! :)

Hello, mexshyl,I am hard working but I am not a workholic,I know the importance of relaxation. Work is important, but there should be something in life which is more important than work,if someone just have work in their lives, they may feel bored, they should get a balance between life and work. They should concern about their health and not to 'over-work'.

I am absolutely not a workholic, haha, maybe just because I do not like my current job.I do not think about what can make me crazy, maybe English,I like the foreign language.so maybe the thing that can make me crazy is something I like.

Hi, shosho107.
Glad to share with your opinion.
Like you mentioned, human beings always unsatisfy with the achievements they've gotten. The reason may be the lust.:)
All of us should learn how to enjoy our lfe now.
I think you love your job and will dedicate yourself to it. I believe you'll get the accomplishment you want.
Wish you have a nice day! ^_^

i am not that much of a workaholic anymore. but, i used to be. i had to be able to meet all the demands of the job of a full time mother and of a provider at the same time. it was so difficult, i could even hardly have 2 hours of sleep in a day. now that my kids are much older, i am relieved so much of hte burden. the extreme stresses i shouldered caused me to sick always, until one day i got diagnosed to be with tuberculosis already. sleep can never be compensated by food. they have different functions when it comes to keeping us healthy.

Hi, trinidadvelasco.
I'm sorry to hear about that you used to be sick always.
It's difficult for mother to bring up their children, especially a full-time mother like you. So don't give yourself too much pressures and just be relaxed. I think it'll helpful for your health.
Wish you'll be better and happy every day! :)
