i was intrigued by this film because most of my officemates talk about this...but it looks like almost every other horror film that has come out the past year or so. it also looks like Hostel, but in a different country. is the tagline for the movie an omen?*cute smile* i like the cast though. i am a fan of Josh Duhamel from his work in the highly entertaining TV series Las Vegas...and Melissa George was great on Alias...and Olivia Wild was good in The OC. what do you think about the film Turistas?

The title of the movie is intriguing and you might mistake it to be a movie made in spanish. "Turistas" is unique with its storyline; the plot is controversial so to speak and this is the first movie I've heard that depicts the selling of internal organs in the black market. Thought the plot is one-of-its-kind, it was not that controversial like the Saw series and Hostel. It never make up to the list of top movies in horror-flick website (www.upcominghorrormovies.com). Well, to each his own alrighty? To add to this article, it was proven in articles and police reports worldwide that there are such negotiations worldwide about the exchange of human internal organs, mostly to the rich people, whenever for their own use or a relative's use we will never know. They don't mind with price since lives are at stake. Hmmmm.. still the ends does not justify the means. In other stories, missing people were also thought to have been victimized by such unlawful and gruesome acts. Some are nowhere to be found, some are found with internal organs missing, some presumed to be ambush victims and some are left yet to be identified. There is more to come in the silver screen, HOSTEL II will be out in theaters worldwide on June 8. You can check out www.upcominghorrormovies.com for more details. Hope the sequel is not that gory, but what else can we expect? :)
