How often do you really forget your email ID and how do you recover it ?

Today i literally went crazy because I forgot my email ID. I tried different variations and pressurized my dumb brain to recall it. Though the websites provide facility to recover them , the data they ask to fill out is also forgetable. Generally, we fill up all fake details that we don't remember and find our self in trouble. What I did is. I logged into mylot account and saw my login ID. Hooray! I was able to check mail. What about You?

im always worried that i will forgot those type of things..thats why i keep a hand-written list of websites i frequent and their access information. there have been only a couple of times that ive had to refer to it..but you never know lol!

Sometimes I will forget what my id and password.It is common coz some site may requires you to enter more than 6 character of password.Some site also give you a password.So you sometimes may forget.Same as me as well.

Luckily I dont ever forget my email Id but I easily forget the passwords. There are about two email addresses I have failed to access because I cant access the pass words. I tried to recover them using the secondary email but they have not been helpful.

Every time I sign up for accounts in the internet I always forget either the username or password for that because I don't jot them.

Many a times i have forgotten my password and i will lost my email. When i forget my password I won't try to recover that id as u said we enter fake details so i won't be remembering those details. I do keep a constant id for personal purpose and i only remember that very clearly

I have 8 e-mail ID, I can not remember all of them. In order to use easily,I just listed all of them ID's and password in my memo, so I have no forgetable experience for the e-mail ID.^^

I thought that I was the only one crazy enough to forget my email login info. I have done that several times. It is a really good thing that my email account will allow me to get the info back from them. I only have to answer my security question and it will log me in and give me the info.
