How to make a Crispy Waffle

i have that same problem! it gets really annoying, and because of that its been a long time since ive made waffles lol! someone once told me to not lift the iron to "check" until you just start to catch that burning smell. actually, i should pull the waffle iron out again and try this, cause i havent made any since long before i was given that tip.
