How important are friends?What are they for?

I think friends are very important in our daily life.We can't succeed in any area if we have no friends.So times I think friends are more important than any thing else.
But in reality,some people has no friend,they will betray their friends for some purpose,these guys are unpopular and unwelcome.Maybe in the end they will regret for what they have done.
What is your opinion on making friends?
By the way I love to make friends with foreigner,it is really interesting,and we can learn different cultures of other countries,help each other.If everyone have the same idea,there will be no wars.

Friends get in our way if you happen to be falling down. So, just like our siblings, friends are there to make us happy when we're sad or to share opinions or suggestions if they feel like we need one.
Just like you, I want to have friends from other countries. Can we be friends?

I agree with your idea.I also like making friends no matter whether it is foreigner or native persons.Friend is one of the important parts of life,who can help us when we run into trouble,or share happiness or sad with us.There is an old saying that more friends,more bright the future.So I never get tired of making friends.To know different cultures,different custom and share different opinions are so wonderful.But it's impossible that everyone having the same idea won't cause war in the world.After all,everyone's purpose is to pursue more profit.
