So many events make me believe that human is selfish. During my work, your companions can even betray you or cheat you. In special time, you must admit that every one around you will think themselves first. Or they may help you to benefit form this. When I recognize this the first time, I'm so disappointed, because I'm one of humans, so I'm selfish too. But now I won't think so, I can benefit happiness in this world filled with selfish humans. Do you sometimes think so? What's your opinion?

It is a trueism of human nature to be greedy and selfish and indeed, all of nature works this way as a survival mechanism. Because we have some intelligence, we can overcome this tendency and extend that selfishness toward all of nature, turning a negative greed into a positive altruistic attitude. Your mind allows you the freedom to avoid the trap most fall into, you don't have to follow the norms of society. My belief is this is a very rare form of good greed. By helping others, we are actually helping ourselves to grow on a spiritual path which benefits everyone and provides an example to society, even if most don't follow that example.
