Yes, but it still has some bugs that need to be fixed and it will take more than 6 months at least. Like windows xp, sp1 had bugs in it, then sp2 came, and it was better. So if your computer is well configured for example if it has 2gb of ram, and 4 mb cache memory in ur processor, then its obviously good. But I am gonna wait 1 more year so the bugs free version comes out.

Thanks for that detailed answer, I was debating if I should get Vista or wait it out. Sounds like I should wait it out.

I haven't tried the Windows VISTA, but am satisfied with my Windows XP. Why do you think that we should all try it?

I don't quite like WIndows Vista. Its acting really funny on my lap top and I'm so irritated with it. I think all windows need a period of time and a big group of people to test it so that Microsoft knows the bugs and how to improve it. I cannot help but use Vista because all new lap tops come with it.

If you do alot of windows gaming, I would have to disagree... Many of the games would not even install for me when I switched to Vista.
However, if like me, you do alot of windows programming, and/or web design/programming, then Vista is great!
