for this question one of my professor answered that uk people drink coffee for that reason only americans drink coffeee.. there is no other reason behind it...
i too think same because americans are totally opposite to uk people ..
for example take the road rules in uk they follow left side and in america they follow right side..

You made me laugh out loud.
I don't think Americans and UK are totally oposite. Yes, we do drive on different sides of the road, but that doesn't make us totally oposite on everything. The UK are our allies after all.
We like both coffee and tea. We just don't drink as much tea as the Brits do. Norway and Finland drink way more coffee than Americans do.

I love drinking coffee especially the ones with flavors like vanilla, hazelnut and mocha. I also drink herbal coffee but I am not a coffee addict. I only drink up to two cups a day. I usually drink 2 cups of coffee in a day.Hot coffee.I don't like it when it is cold. But the problem with it is the addiction.

Thanks for the chuckle! This was a great one. Being an american I can say only that I drink both. Granted coffee is an every morning staple for me but almost year round I also enjoy tea in the afternoon and evenings. I don't know about us being complete opposites. Yes, there are differences in language, culture, society, but I don't know that we those differences are intentional either. Doesn't all of Europe drive on the left side of the road? I don't know why we had to be different but having only driven on the right side I can imagine it will be strange to change.
