Bollywood- DON or JAAN-E-MANN

My pick is surely JAAN-E-MANN. DON was not able to live upto expectations, the magic was not created. The story went so haywire at the interval, it was really tough for the Farhan to sum it up. Also some questions were unanswered. Jaan-E-Mann on the other hand a wonderful, subtle movie. In DON, Shahrukh is amazing though.

....did don liv eupto the expectations? Depends on what you expected....ITs time you realise that when in bollywood they say they spent millions on graphics....they come up with cr*py grafix like Krissh , the other eg being vreation of jadoo after they said "jadoo was a robot they got made" :)
Abt the post interval storyline.well it seemed more realistic than the sippy1970 movie:) but then i guess u guess have nostalgia to overcome:P

Well about Janemann, yes there has been a lot of expenditure on graphics part in this movie as well. But the performances are superb for both Salman n Akshay. However, u just cannot count out SRKs performance in DON, i think its the very best of him.

5 reason to love don
1-direction -farhan akhtar done a great job that film lokks like a hollywood films
2-style-though i m not a srk fan ,i like his style in new don
3-action: -superb action superb car chasing,realistic fightings and top of all that sky diving
4-background music :- excellent work shankar-ehan-loy also mridual pandits who remix the chasing music
5-photography--Mohanan done a great work as DOP so looks neat and hollywood like

there is no comparing of big b with shah rukh.
shah rukh has given what he can to the role of the DON
i think the remake was a good one. bolly wood has a bad history of making remakes.
But looking at the spates of remakes coming at the box office i wonder whether the story writers would losing their jobs!
